With a somewhat depleted team the under 14's put on a brave display against Doire Colmcille in the semi final of the Feile Na Nog. Missing key older players like Harry Foster, Jordan O'Neill and Aaron butcher the younger Drumsurn lads were introduced to help bolster the forward line.

Drumsurn out scored the Derry City team seven scores to five, but late in the second half and with only one point between the team the city team found the net for the third time to seal their victory. Oran Devlin scored a point from play, Michael Mullan scored two from play and his older brother Ciaran scored four points (3 from frees). At this level had all resources been available to the management team of Ciaran, Martin and Colm the result may have been different.

We are looking forward to resuming play with our full compliment of players in the league campaign.
