St. Matthew's Hunt For The HUNK

Hunt for the Hunk is a fundraising event which will take place in the Club hall on Saturday 9th October.

Join us on the hunt for a St. Matthew’s HUNK. The winning Hunk will be awarded a ‘HUNK OF THE CLUB’ trophy and will go forward to represent the club in the County Derry final, Ulster final and ultimately All Ireland Hunk of the year.

Members of our senior camogie team have identified ten potential club members to compete for the coveted title ‘HUNK’.

The selection criteria adopted by the girls took into consideration qualities such as charm, charisma, table manners but ultimately good looks. (The later excluded many! Many!! male members of the club. Marty Plump Mullan didn't even submit an application)

Join us on the night and help crown your very own HUNK.

The compare for the night is the former All Ireland winning Armagh goalkeeper Benny Tierney. A disco will follow the hunk search. Come along and support your club as a fun night for all is expected.

The event is restricted to over 18’s and a limited number of tickets are on sale. Tickets are priced at £5 and can be obtained from any committee members. Doors open at 8:30pm.

Hunk Rules

1) Each Hunk will be escorted on the night by one of our lovely camogie girls.

2) Prior to the event each couple will be expected to raise £100 sponsorship towards club funds

3) On the night the hunk will entertain the crowd (something similar to the Rose of Tralee and more …).

4) Couples on the night will go head to head to see who can raise the most money for the nominated charities.
