This game was one of the most one sided ever seen in Division Two but there was a very good reason. Drumsurn had only four of their championship team on duty and a staggering eighteen missing from their first team panel. It was a case of volunteers filling the jersey and that included a forty plus age and waist goalie who had not kicked a ball for a decade.

All credit to Dominic Woods for getting fifteen on the field, with the bulk of his team working in England and Scotland he had little option but get a batch of mainly volunteers.

Before the half time whistle the game was so one sided that the Craigbane manage­ment took off some of their better players but the scores just kept coming. The Cralgbane goals came from Ryan Moore, Lee Moore, Adie McLaughlin(2) and Noel Reilly. Virtually every other player got on the score sheet. Cahir Mullan pointed two long range frees for Drumsurn and the Harbinson brothers Stephen and Christopher got a point each.
